The Hunger Games is definitely one of the must-see movies this year for most movie buffs. Based on a Suzanne Collin's novel by the same name, the movie made it's debut in North America about 2 weeks ago and it will officially premier in Kenyan cinemas this weekend.
Not to give it all away, the movie is set in the future where a boy and a girl from one of the twelve districts in existence is selected by their capitol to fight to death. Directed by Gary Ross, the movie features Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hensworth. The movie raked in ksh.25.2 billion at the US box ofrice and its widespread popularity is expected to be the same in Kenya.
