Eric Wainaina and Emmanuel Jal Perform Tonight At The 'Baby Don't Go' Concert

Former Child soldier Emmanuel Jal and acclaimed Kenyan singer-songwriter Eric Wainaina will perform at the 'Baby Don't Go' concert in Nairobi tonight.

The event has been organized by Oxam and Rainmaker. 5 of South Sudan's renowned artists including Jal's sister Nyaruach, and Daisy Hope Ejang and Bior, who were former TPF contestants, will grace the event. The concert aims at sharing a message of peace, unity  and reconciliation to the people of South Sudan. The concert will be broadcast in Uganda, Kenya and South Sudan.


Emmanuel Jal and Eric Wainaina will then set off to the Kakuma Refugee Camp tomorrow. They will collaborate with local artists from the camp to produce a song and record a music video to accompany the song.

400 invited guests will attend the event at The Elephant, Lavington and no tickets will be sold at the door.
