Emmanuel Jal Headed To The Kakuma Refugee Camp For The World Peace Day Celebrations

South Sudanese musician Emmanuel Jal will be at the Kakuma Refugee camp later on this month for the World Peace Day celebrations. The International Day of Peace, commonly referred to as the World Peace Day, is observed on the 21st of September annually and at the Kakuma Refugee Camp it is usually officiated with a grand event.

Emmanuel Jal, a former child soldier, is a successful hip hop artist and humanitarian advocate. The news that he will be at the camp for the event has been received with excitement, with most upcoming artists awaiting for their studio session with the successful hip hopper. Jal will conduct a series of music workshops to mentor the youth at the camp and he will also have a few studio sessions with the artists.
